Above the head.... picture from malaysiakini

If you want to sit beside the home minister in Malaysia we know there's one thing you can do and he will welcome you to the seat beside him and also take pictures with you.Just go around insulting other religion in Malaysia in a humilating manner without considering how they feel. The very people who insulted other religion gets to sit besides the home minister(who is supposed to protect public) who points that the people should not be blamed for thier action.

It is fortunate that most of us understand this was an action by only a certain group of people and most of us condemm such disgraceful behaviour. Lets hope the home minister does his job and look into the matter seriously and the implication of thier action to the country as a whole rather that sitting beside those individuals and helping them instead.

Birds of the same feather flock together

The past few days has seen Malaysiakini and The Star web page flooded with traffic. A huge and consistent flow by the Internet savvy caused the servers to slack. Arguably the majority public is up-to-date with the current and highly possibly making virtual sentiment comprehend public perception.

It is safe to say the public put politician highly above our self to guide all of us rather that to take control of us. Yet they fail to understand democracy is when 300 million people choose 1 person to lead not when 3000 chooses 1 person to lead 25 million people or in this case an entourage decides who controls 2 million people.

Evenhandedly BN should be commended for the ability to convince certain opposition to their favor but the virtue of the leader who were brought into BN is much doubted, two faced corruption charges. The public can't help but to wonder the deals that made them switch parties causing catastrophic damage for their former friends.Does birds of the same feather flock together?

Since they managed to secure the state with razor thin margin wouldn’t it be expedient not to get the public confidence first. Similarly PR should call for a snap election if they ever do get control again.

We address the US as a capitalist country yet we practice the same in our own backyard. Evidently the US is trying to change the perception as they might lose control when only the interest of the influential minors is take care. Unfortunately the rate BN is learning from the people, they are looking to be as irrelevant as MIC.

We as a nation supported Badawi when he came into power. The support we provided was historic. We knew he was a noble man, few would deny and many would agree. Unfortunately capitalism plus monopolism prevented execution, and the nation judged.

This time around we did not choose our PM but rather will be given one who appear show willingly extend of the influence and network linked to capitalist and monopolist. Something we had all been fighting against as a nation.

It shows you have power of the influential few but in doing it you have thrown the weight of the important many to the other end.

The outcry of the unpopular move is clear and being ignorant will strike all out in 4 years. Most significantly the effect of BN losing mandate will create a stronger PR which in turn will balance of both. A new era will emerge with two equally powerfully party capable of ruling a democratic nation only when it performs to the highest level of integrity with noble intention to serve the people with no prejudice.

"Yes, we can”, seems to be vogue but “Malaysia Boleh” came first

I am not sure about many, but KT election baffled me. Although March election changed Malaysia political landscape but the KT election astounds me. It is fairly arguable to conclude March election was a result of BN being ignorant. This time around, BN had all the forewarning they needed, they came knowing the real situation. Along came pre- election goodies that cost taxpayers a bomb. They were everything but ignorant. Yet, BN lost.

Was the damage done before, permanent? Well this world is prove of nothing is permanent except change. Change sustains. People have to change, you can teach an old dog a new trick but can you trick an old dog with an old trick. When people change, you have to follow along and change to keep up. Changes are more rapid as ever in a time where the border of city and “kampung” is smeared.

A point blank question - Do you like to be threatened? ‘Not being able to get funding if the wrong candidate is chosen’ is not a wise approach to get votes especially when you are vulnerable. Instead action speaks louder than words; action is what you get when you go home empty but with your words plus an unsettling feeling. We wonder how many mistakes will it take till the ruling and sliding coalition learns to evolve or will they be overwhelmed by the rapid change of time. Politics is about people not money, the less kinship politician has with corporate figures of conglomerates and the top 40 in the rich list the more accepted you get. People get the basic, delusional politician get it complicated.

People from all walks of life know how the election becomes insignificant once you have lost but hugely significant "if" you had won. We empathetic with such foolish remark because the ability to stay disconnected with the maturity of people is sad. Typically “Malaysia Boleh” was mere words by politician, as intended, people put it into action. Yet again action this time has spoken louder than words. After all “Malaysia Boleh” did come first.
